Very Short Life

This is very odd the Droid X and Droid 2 where reviled not long ago and seam to get getting the "end of life" statement from Verizon on March 31 2011.

This seams like the avrage smart phone is getting a very short life span. To put that in presective thats 8 months from now, that your phone that you just got will be out of date, and 16 months left in your beloved contract.

I think that every one should by their phones unsubsidized.
